Today I was thinking about why I know so many good people who seem to be always having trials and getting the short end of the stick and I know so many who are not the greatest people and they don't seem to have as many things go wrong for them. I was questioning the logic of it all and just.... Why? The Lord blessed me with an answer that enlightened me and then made me feel kinda silly for not just knowing it. Those good people use the trials to make them better. The Lord is polishing His diamonds and they really do shine for all the world. The people I know who have gone through some tough stuff and smiled and praised God, they are a light. They just shine. Those who choose the path of least resistance and who find fault with everything, those the Lord leaves alone. If He tried them it would only make them more bitter and turn from Him. He does not push them into activity because He might loose them all together. So, if you have trials in your life and you feel kinda picked on just remember you are one of the few the Lord is polishing. He will make you into something so beautiful and full of light if you will just close your mouth and let Him work.
