Day 304 of 2014

Today two things I pleaded with the Lord for He answered. First, our car passed safety and emissions so we could register it before tomorrow when it expired. Second, RJ got better so we could have a very fun Halloween night. He went to sleep last night under the weather and awoke still feeling yucky. He felt better by lunch and we had a very good Halloween together as a family. We also got to spend time with lots of extended family and just have a nice night. I am very grateful.

Day 303 of 2014

Today I had the opportunity to go and help in both my children's classes for their Halloween parties. It was a lot of fun and I am glad that I could. I am grateful the Lord made it possible for me to go help by providing me a sitter and for helping me to know when they even were to volunteer to help. The kids were happy I was there and that made me feel good as a mom. Today was a good day.

I am blessed to have a husband that I agree with in almost everything. We were having a discussion tonight and without even giving me what he thought I voiced my opinion and it was also his. It makes life so much easier being in agreance most of the time. I am so grateful the Lord matched me so well to my eternal companion. He really gave me a great guy and one who matches me.

I found the last bit of my two oldest Halloween costumes at the store on clearance for an awesome price. I am so grateful when the Lord puts things on sale right when I need it. It happens a lot. One of the many ways I know He takes care of me.

I am grateful for having a husband. We had a friend come over tonight and listening to his dating stories and the pain and confusion of putting yourself out there.... I never want to have to do that ever ever EVER again. I am grateful the Lord sent RJ to me and that we fit so perfect. I am grateful for the love we have and for the beautiful family He has blessed us with. I am positive this friend will find his match but today was not his day. I am happy he could come and find some relief for a moment laughing with us. I know the Lord is mindful of him as He is mindful of me and it will all work out. It did for me but only with the Lord's help.

I am always grateful for the opportunity to partake of the sacrament and renew my covenants and refresh my dedication to being more like the Savior. Every Sunday the Lord grants us the opportunity to have our sins forgiven and do better. That is a miracle that happens. The Lord loves us that much. It is a tender mercy I take for granted more often than I want to think about but today it was brought to my mind how wonderful and miraculous it is. Sunday's are the best days.

Today we did some home remodel and no one was hurt and it was done quickly and without incident. I know the Lord was with us and that He helped us. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Today RJ had a better day at work than we thought he would. He had to go to a meeting with a client who he knew was not going to be happy with what RJ had to tell him. We prayed. He went to the meeting and everything was not peachy but it turned out far better than we had hoped. I am grateful for prayer and the answers to them.

Today I went to the zoo with my mother and my two youngest. We had a great time. The weather was great and the animals were active. I am grateful the Lord blesses me with days like this. I am very blessed to live close to a zoo and to have a pass. I am blessed to be close to my mother and be able to go with her. I am blessed with cute kids that are very fun. The Lord knew what He was doing planning my life 😊

Today I had another day when everything just got done. I am so grateful for those days. It's like the Lord say, "Hey, your doing alright. I will help you here and here. Just trust Me and we will get this done." I can feel Him guiding me and helping me to know where to prioritize and helping to keep my memory in check.

Our ward had new nursery leaders put in our primary. This is a blessing to us as our littlest one is now ready for nursery. The leader they called we trust and know will do a good job. We can now have our little one go to primary. It is going to be great. I am so grateful the Lord is looking out for our family and put in a good leader.

The Lord blessed me with a very active, full day but it didn't totally exhaust me. I am enjoying the energy He promised me a couple months back and I am grateful for the realization of blessings. I am not at a 100% but I am getting there with the blessings of the Lord.

Sorry, I thought I posted last night.
For day 292 I am grateful for fall nights eating outside. I had my dinner outside and it was marvelous. I love the fall colors and the crisp smell in the air. The Lord blessed me with a beautiful night.

Today my husband built me something in our kitchen and did an awesome job. I know the Lord helped him to do it so quickly and without any official carpentry skills. I am so happy with it and grateful the Lord blessed me with a very competent husband. Oh, and he did it all without spending a dime. Another tender mercy.

I am so grateful for time with my family. We went for a walk tonight and it was a great experince to be out with the sun setting walking with those I love and talking and having a good time. The Lord blessed me with a great family. This is a blessing I pull from everyday and is a reminder of God in my life.

I am grateful the Lord blessed me with a very low key, relaxed day today. Life is so rush rush with kids in school. I am grateful I was granted today with my children to relax and have fun.

Following promptings quickly brings blessings from heaven. I am grateful for promptings and I am grateful for being able to be an instrument in the hands of my Father. The Holy Ghost is a really great companion and I am grateful the Lord gives Him to us.

Today I made homemade spaghetti sauce for the first time. The Lord has been helping me to do all these things by myself for a reason. He is trying to make me self sufficient and I am very grateful. I like doing stuff like this. It makes me feel like I could take care of myself and my family if something happened. I don't know what is in store down the road for me but I am grateful the Lord preparing me.

Some Monday's while having Family Home Evening I really wonder what good it is doing and why we do it when it makes me second guess having 4 children but always at the end the Lord has one of our little ones say something adorable or sing a song with just the right amount of cuteness, or one of the older ones gives an excellent answer and I realize they DO listen sometimes. I am grateful for these moments and that the Lord grants them to me.

I am a very lucky woman to have so many family members that not only are they family but I consider them friends as well. You don't get to pick your family and sometimes you don't necessarily    get along with them. I have many family members that I can not only say I love but that I LIKE them as well. I am very blessed. Now, I have put forth effort to make it that way but it is nice. I am grateful the Lord blessed me with such a family, whether it be the family I was born into or the family I married into. Today we had a family party and I am grateful for the time I got to spend with some of those friend/family members.

Today while I was helping my daughter with her math I was given an extra dose of patience. I know the Lord granted me this and helped me to feel my daughter's frustration. Knowing how she was feeling helped me to stay calm and know how to help her. I am grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost that the Lord can communicate such things to me instantly so that I can act on them. What a miracle!

Today I had a good talk with my oldest child's teacher. We have been blessed again this year with a really good teacher. I am grateful my mother was able to watch my two littlest ones so I could go in and talk with her and get on the same page so that my daughter can enjoy school. The Lord blessed me with a sitter and an understanding teacher.

I tried a new recipe today. I love to bake. I love to figure out new terms and make new things and have it all work out. The Lord has blessed me with the means to be able to bake often and I am very grateful for His loving kindness. He lets me do what I love and helps make me my best self at it. Very sweet, literally.

Day 281 of 2014

Today my 3rd turned 4 years old. 4 years ago the Lord blessed me with a smiling, vibrant light that is totally adorable. Her catch phrase that she got from her Papa is "Be happy!" She has been such a great addition to our little family and I am grateful for her everyday. Today I got to spend a lot of time with her because her older brother and sister were in school. We got her dressed up like a princess and she was my birthday princess all day. I am grateful for days like this and thank the Lord He gives them to me.

Day 280 of 2014

Today when I was getting dinner situated in the oven I burned my finger and dropped the pan. The pan did not dump all over into the bottom of the oven and ruin what was in it and make the oven a mess but dinner stayed firmly in place. I am grateful the Lord cares about something as little as dinner when He has wars and everything else to worry about. He knew that was important to me and He saved my dinner. Tender mercies make the day better.

I was blessed to be able to go to the store and, with my limited funds, buy just what I needed and came within cents of what my budget was. This was because of things being on sale and me having a couple coupons. I know this is because the Lord knew my needs and made sure they were filled. I am so grateful for His ever watchful eye and putting things on sale when I need them to be!

Day 278 of 2014

My phone was wiped on accident two weeks ago. Most of my data was retrieved but I thought I had lost my voice memos which would have been really sad for me. I had some interviews with my mom for a family history project I am doing and it was almost an hours worth of stuff. I was just sick when I kept going into my voice memo file and it was empty. Then, out of the blue I went in and all the sudden all my memos were there. I am so grateful and see it as a miracle from the Lord. So many of the memos I could not replace and I am so grateful the Lord brought them back to me. By whatever technological means He had to use, He brought them back to me.

Day 275-277 of 2014

I have been out in God's beautiful wilderness for the weekend but I did keep track of my posts so I will just put the last 3 days in one post.

Day 275-

While up camping we had to get our spare tire fixed for our car and the service man fixed it and charged us nothing. I was so grateful and know the Lord blessed us with a kind service man who did it for free.

Day 276-

Our son was injured when he picked up some hot charcoals. We thought he would be fine but as the night progressed his pain didn't go away. RJ gave him a blessing and from that time forth it has bothered him no more. It was a miracle. Our youngest also was injured. Put her teeth through her lip. RJ gave her a blessing along with my dad and my brother helping to administer and she also calmed down and the pain has not bothered her. Two miracles with the priesthood power. God does not sleep nor does the Power He gives His servants.

Day 277-

I love conference! I love that we have living prophets and apostles and that we get to hear from so many of them. I am so grateful that we have the technology to listen or watch and to get on the Internet and do it again. We live in such a great age! I love this Gospel and am grateful that the Lord blessed me to be here to listen and to enjoy!

Today the Lord blessed me with a calm tummy which I have not had in a few days because of a new medication. I know this is because of the blessing I recieved. I am really grateful for this as I have a lot to do today!
