Yesterday my son stayed home from school because he did not feel well. Today he really wanted to go and seemed to be better. His cough was better and he kept saying he felt better. The Spirit whispered to keep him home one more day. He still had his cough a little and I did not feel it would hurt him to miss one more day so I kept him home. Well not too long after I would have dropped him off at kindergarten he came to me to tell me he was bored. He put his hand on my leg and it was burning hot. I felt his forehead and, sure enough, he had a fever. As the day wore on he was more lethargic. I am so glad I listened to the Spirit when all rational sense said to send him because he was fine. He would have been miserable at school and came home and crashed. By keeping him home and making him rest I hope his recovery will be faster. The Lord can see and knows things we don't and I am grateful He shares that knowledge with us.
