Day 163 of 2016

Not everyone has the same views as you. Not everyone follows the same leader as you. Not everyone makes the decisions you would. These are facts of life. Sometimes we need to let go of the fact that people are different than us and love them for who they are. I am so grateful the Lord has helped me to see this and has been helping me to get over my own weaknesses in this area. I have been able to truly get to know some people and love them without asking where they come from and judging them from their past. The past cannot be changed but the future can. The atonement of Christ is real and it is why we are here. I am working everyday to be better about letting others make their own decisions and loving them no matter what. It does not mean I condone or support a decision they make but I can let them know that it is theirs to make but I am always there. I am grateful the Lord is helping me to become a better friend.
