Today we went to a ward party and I kept feeling impressed to invite a friend and make sure he knew to come and that he and his girls were welcome. I thought he wouldn't come. Well he did come and he had some desserts left over from a wedding he helped cater he wanted to get rid of. We told him to bring them with him to the party. Come to find out they didn't have a dessert at the party. So him coming added a dessert to the evening and he was able to not waste all the hard work he did. I am grateful for the tender mercies of the Lord.
