Something of mine was broken today by one of my children. Not on purpose but it was done while they were doing something they shouldn't have been doing. This was something I use daily and often and it was even personalized by my husband for me. I was not happy. There was some lecturing that went with said broken object but really loosing it and blowing my top never happened. The Lord reminded me that it was just an object and that I could get a new one. That my child didn't mean to break it and that they did feel sorry. The phrase that the Lord kept repeating in my head was, "She is more important. Speak carefully." I am so grateful the Lord helped calm me down for this event and that I think I handled it okay. I know I handled it better than I would have without Help.
