Today I recieved a blessing and am feeling so much better. I am so grateful for priesthood power and having it in my home. I am grateful for a husband who honors it and can give blessings at anytime because he has kept himself ready to receive and is not just a Sunday priesthood holder.

Today was another one of those days when I know that I only got everything done that I needed to because I had the help of the Lord. I know He strengthened me and supported me when I just wanted to take a nap. I am so grateful for help when help is needed.

I was able to sleep in today and get some much needed rest. My sweet RJ watched the kids and made the dessert we were in charge of for dinner. The Lord blest me with good sleep and with a wonderful help meet who is constantly putting my comfort above his. I am so grateful for such love.

I am grateful for living prophets who guide us. I was able to listen to one today along with some wonderful woman for the general woman's conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a great evening and I am grateful that I was able to attend with my daughter and my mother.

Today I am grateful for my testiomony that I can lean on when I need it. I am grateful the Lord speaks to me everyday and tells me everyday that He loves me. I am grateful for modern day revelation and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is in my life everyday and I love it.

Some people are put into your life to help you. Some are put into your life to destroy. They come from different masters and have different outcomes for your life. One Master wants you to be happy and to return to your home above through obedience. The other only wants darkness and misery for you. He has forfeited his place in the eternities and feels that everyone else should be miserable like unto himself. When these servants of their master come into your life sometimes it is hard to see which side they are on at first. But their fruits will show you what outcome they want for you and if you are intune with the correct Master you will know by the whisperings of His Spirit. Today, as we were dealing with a family issue, I had this thought come to me. I know the Lord sent it to me so I could see a little better the point He was trying to make. Bad people are not sent into our lives by Him. They are made and sent into our lives by Satan, the father of all lies. He brings these poor lost souls over to his side and then uses them to bring more over. He is making a little army. This army will never win. The biggest loser of all will be him, Lucifer himself. I am grateful for the insights the Lord blesses me with each day that I may learn and grow. I hope I will keep better watch in the future for those being sent to help and those being sent to destroy. May the Lord help you to see also.

I am grateful for prayer and how it can make you feel better no matter your day. Somedays the Lord does not calm the storm (solve your problems immediately, if ever) but calms His child. I know this to be true. I know that He listens to my prayers and He is with me no matter where I am in my day. I am grateful for His listening ear and His forgiveness when I belly ache and moan. I am grateful that I can go to Him always. He loves me today and He will love me tomorrow.

Sorry, I fell asleep last night so I am doing my post for yesterday this morning.

Yesterday RJ stayed at work all day. He threw his back out last week and yesterday was his first good day since last Friday. He received a blessing and we are seeing the fruits from it. I am very grateful he is almost back to 100%. The Lord answers prayers.

Today I was prompted to back up my phone to our computer, which I don't normally do, and I did. So grateful for that prompting because when I tried to update my phone afterwards it totally wiped it and sent it into 'recovery mode' which means I had to install everything again. If I had not backed it up I would have lost all my notes and text messages. There were a few that I would have been heart broken if I lost. So grateful the Lord was watching out for me and my phone.

Today I had the opportunity to go to the Ogden Temple dedication with my oldest daughter. It was her first temple dedication. The Spirit was very strong as we watched and I felt that she was listening, even if not with her ears I know with her spirit. We had a very nice time together, just me and her. I am grateful the Lord has so many temples and that we are were to attend the dedication. I am grateful for the covenants I have made and that they keep me safe and happy. I am grateful for all the teachings of the Gospel that make it possible to be sealed in the temple of our God. I know the Lord loves us because we have temples.

Day 263 of 2014

I had lots of tender mercies today. I got to go on the JDRF walk with friends that we have adopted as family and love dearly. I got to talk to them and laugh and just bask in their sweet spirits. Later today I was making dinner and went to get a pan down from a high cupboard and did not know said pan had it's very heavy glass lid inside. With my youngest right under me (I did not know this) I took the pan out and the lid fell to the floor. It should have landed on my little one but did not and did not even bounce over and hit her. I was so relieved and thankful the Lord protected her. So even though my day was exhausting and a little frustrating at times I know the Lord made it just a little sweeter.

The patience, strength and energy to take care of myself (still have a head cold), 4 children and a husband that can't do much because he threw his back out. The Lord sent me angels through out the day to help me; including my father in law, my brother in law, my mom and my niece. They all helped me at times today when I felt it didn't have the energy or I just couldn't do something. I am very blessed and grateful they listened to promptings to help.

Today I am grateful for a mother who takes care of me when I am sick even though I am grown. It is nice to feel loved and taken care of. The Lord blessed me with a very caring momma and I thank Him for her all the time. The Lord couldn't be here in person to take care of us so He sent us angels. We call them Mom.

I am grateful for ibuprofen. I am so grateful the Lord made medicines so that we can have a more comfortable experience here on earth. The Lord knew I would be a wimp and would need a little boost every month and I am grateful for that so that I can still function.

My wonderful husband took care of me all day as I have been down with hay fever. Head is stuffy, energy is gone, and eyes are itchy.... Blah. And he took such good care of me and handled all the kids. The Lord blessed me with such a great help meet.

We got a trailer! An answer to our prayers and the prayers of others. My in laws were kind enough to sell it to us and we got it today. I am very excited for the memories that will be made and the fun we will have. I am so grateful that I listened to the little voice that suggested we ask and for the Lord looking out for our family, extended included.

I am grateful for tomatoes, my father in law who grew me some, my cousin for an awesome salsa recipe, and my mom for walking me through some steps on how to make salsa. I love a good salsa and I love tomatoes and I love to cook. The Lord blessed me with an abundance of my favorite things today and gave me a lot of family to help me. It turned out well for my first time making salsa and I look forward to making more with the yummy produce the Lord provides!

I am grateful today for the opportunity I had to visit with a friend with no kids to interrupt. The Lord has provided me with a wonderful mother who loves my children and watches them for me often with no complaints. I had a good visit and my kids were happy and safe. I am very blessed.

Watching my husband respectfully and honorably using his priesthood is always a reminder to me of God's Hand. Not only for the reason that the Lord brought us together and we are perfect for each other but also that He is ever present in our lives if we let Him in. He cares for us always and is waiting and wanting to bless us. I know every post I say 'God Loves You!' I hope it does not lose it's potency with every post. I mean that with all my heart. He does love you. And He always will. Yes, we all disappoint Him at times and yes, we make Him sad sometimes but don't we do that to our earthly parents as well? They still love us. They don't love our choices but they love us. Our Heavenly Parents are the same. They will always love you. Never forget that!

I got to go to the Beach Boys concert with my mom tonight which in itself was a blessing to spend the time with her but also, the rain stopped and we were comfortable the whole time. I am so grateful the Lord blessed me with the opportunity and I had a great time.

I am grateful for the love of my husband. The Lord blessed me with a good one. He takes such good care of me. Today the Lord has just been reminding me in simple ways how much I am loved by my husband. The way he looks at me, the way he has taken care of me since he got home from work... The Lord has been telling my heart how blessed I am to have such a wonderful help meet and companion.

My mom had a great idea today and made a yummy dessert of her own creating. It was very good and made my day. I am grateful the Lord gave me a sweet mother to make me desserts on days that are not so good.

Warm showers are great. I am so grateful that the Lord gave someone the idea for indoor plumbing which many people built off of to the point that I can have a relaxing shower before I go to bed. I am grateful to live in a country where this is common and to live in a house where I have it and can afford the gas bill to heat the water and can pay the water bill for the water. The Lord has blessed me a great deal with simple pleasures that when you think of how much work it took to make them what they are today, they are not that simple.

I am thankful for my Ipad that I can keep my journal on. The Lord blessed us with a very good deal on it and I use it for my journal and also for my family history. I love my iPad and am very grateful for it and all it's uses.
